    Cybertoryshire

Someone I know is having trouble finding a house to buy in Milton Keynes. I opined that prices have a long way to come down yet. She replied (in all seriousness):
It may be hard to believe but in MK the prices are actually rising again, it's like it has it's own economy.
    Is MK in Cybertoryshire?

Is there anywhere else that is immune to the doom?

Article by Roger Bootle in Torygraph on Monday pointed out that between 1989 and 1995 house prices actually rose for around 15 individual months (cant remember exact number).

      1 months figures are meaningless.

Tell your friend to wait a while.

If house prices are rising in MK it will be because they dont need a HIP......

Perhaps it means that people are trading down from more expensive areas, thus creating extra demand in MK.
