            Normal protocol does not have the copper at the door shaking hands with the PM or anybody else, he's on duty.

            Obama broke it and shook hands with him at his (Obama's) instigation. The copper briefly offered his hand to Brown too, not to appear rude I suppose; Brown stuck to normal and didn't shake it, which didn't surprise the copper.

            Nothing to see here, guys, don't try to make something out of it.
