Just seen my first butterfly of the year. En Lille ildfugl (Lycaena phlaeas).

I saw one in the garden at the weekend. It was white with a black spot on each wing.

Sorry but you should have seen the odd one here and there at least a month ago. Brimstones are often the first along with Peacocks.

I don't see why not. The rare ones are probably best. Not sure if you'd need to gut them first. And take the wings off. And the head.

I wonder what is the largest animal we can't eat? Most of the big ones are edible even if we do turn our noises up to many top predators.

If you eat the liver of a Polar Bear it will kill you due to the high levels of Vitamin A. :wink
