What does cooking an omelette in 30 seconds prove exactly? I could put an egg in a pan and then turn it on to a plate uncooked in 25 seconds... would I win a prize??
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

I reckon it'd be much more fun making the loser eat the winners omlette.

On them! On them! They fail!

It maybe quick but it wasn't edible.

Just think of the eggshells still in it...

I think they were just trying to copy topgear but couldn't think of anything entertaining to do.

They should have had a cream cracker eating competition, or maybe eggs ‘Cool Hand Luke’ style.

At least that would be definitive and measurable.

                  Coat not required.

It's an excellent idea, well sealed and then boiled for 45mins, that would make these B-Z list celebs and overpaid football players and pundits actually entertaining to watch.
