That's a ludicrous rate for the knowledge and skills of a BA.

Poor Ross then bothered to read my CV ( I have also done PM work) and said - maybe they are looking for a PMO with a degree - do I know any!

          Any offers?

At that rate they would be lucky to get a barely literate chimp/office junior let alone a professional.

There was a temp (traditional temp agency etc) PMO at my last gig on £12/hour and she was great, but she was underpaid at that for her skills which certainly didn't include BA work.

Good PMO's are like rocking horse tuplie; they keep the whole thing afloat in my opinion - I would expect to pay £200 pd for one.

No kidding, the PMO I mentioned was brought in to help out a Programme Director, Programme Manager, 8 PM's of various levels and 6 BA's, she was excellent and easily worth £200 a day.

This reminds me of government building I worked at, they had Canadian oak railings that cost £1200 per meter (rough guess x1800), those swanky chairs at £900 a pop (x5,000 of them ) and they paid peanuts to the run of the mill staff... they wondered why morale was low.

I have and would again work out of an unheated portacabin in January if the rate was right.
