    Annoying websites

I hate Flash websites. I decided not to eat in this place tonight because it's go such a bloody irritating website.

Any other companies you refuse to do business with on the basis of their bloody irritating website?
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

I will never lease a car from http://www.lingscars.com/ (as featured on Dragons Den).

Warning, that website could seriously damage your eyes.

It's a shame about the massive clutter everywhere on that site, because the animation of the person climbing down the page (Ling, I presume) is actually quite effective. On its own.

Geocities closing down is the end of an era as well. My first ever website was on there (like millions of others) and I'm pretty sure one of my first uses of javascript was a little function I nicked from somewhere which magically got rid of the banner adverts

Same here. I remember managing to get one of first batch of free accounts, I think it was on "SiliconValley", that entitled me to something like 1MB of free webspace!

I have to remember to turn off Javascript before I visit some websites, otherwise they take too long to load and generally slow down my none to powerful PC. And even that's not effective against e.g. BBC web sites that want to load video that I'm not interested in and which similarly slows up my machine.
