Swine Flue - The Big Pandemic?

I thinking that this Swine flue is gonna be the big pandemic that those doom scientists like to predict. We've had a couple of tasters with the Bird Flue and SARS outbreaks a few years back for practice, but now the balloon is going up with the Swine.

Let's face it, Swine flue has to be bad. It's even got a real evil bad ass name needed to go with it. I knew Bird flue was just a fad due to the name. How could a virus named after a fluffy feathery creature do any real damage. SARs was slightly worse, but the name to innocuous to do major harm. But SWINE flue - time to run for the hills.

To be fair we (or most of us) have been eating swines for such a long period of time that they just had to get even with us

And at least one Mexican has been doing more than eating them. Goats are still 'on the menu' though according to the Daily Mash.

To be on the safe side, a new use will have to be found for them. E.g. wool.

so, "very big" is greater than "large"?

Where does "Very Large" come on the grand scale of people dropping like flies with huge rivers of snot flooding our streets?
