What are you doing to celebrate May Day?

Its May Day today. What are you doing to celebrate?

Personally I shall be singing the Red Flag at noon.

It's called "Arbejdernes internationale kampdag!" and is today here. I'm off to see a politician called Helle Thorning Shmidt speak at Fælleparken, not that I agree with everything she says, but just 'cause she's a really good orator, quite a pleasure.

Later when the crowd is quite tanked up, about 6pm, there's a guy due to speak which'll be a right laugh: I expect some drunken hecklers, and he's good to answer them.
Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.
threadeds website, and here's my blog.

The fun never ends here in New Zealand.

1st May is the start of the duck-shooting season.

Pharmacies are also permitted to sell Tamiflu over-the-counter without a prescription from 1st May until the end of August.

I don't know if the two are connected.

I haven't shot a duck or purchased any Tamiflu today, in case you were wondering.

A quarter to nine on a Friday evening. I am at home, and the TV choices are really dull.

I may have had a couple of glasses of wine already.
