    Golf

    Ok - I didn't really want to hijack the other thread but I was at a local-ish Golf Club the other night with a friend, they were having a charity thing and as her mum is the "lady captain" - she went along for support - I went too!!

    I quite fancy trying the whole golf thing - but I am not sure if I can be bothered with the politics etc.

    So, do any of you lot play? Are ye members of a club? Is it a stuffy old institution? And lastly do any of you have other halves who play?

            I would not mind giving it a go, but as the other half does not want to I would have to do it on my own. Would prefer it if I would find someone else to play a round with.

                    I've thought about golf but have decided it's something I plan to take up when I'm retired and too old to get any exercise down the gym etc.
                    ...my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...
