      Standard response :

      "It's ok, but I'd wait for the Service Pack to iron out the bugs before I went live with it."

      Works for just about any piece of software you, or your boss, can think of.

          Standard tester response;

          "I suggest we set up a test project to assess the suitability of this product for supporting mission critical applications. It's a strategic issue and I would be very happy to organise a professional test team to help you with this bla bla bla give me some money and I'll find out if it's any good"

                Except if I hire you on my test team gravy train on a 6 month rolling contract.
