    My SC level sc is due to lapse in a couple of weeks, is there any way I can keep it going ?

    Not unless you are working for an SC company AFAIK. You could aply for an SC job, get cleared for the new firm and then not take the contract.

        Hmmmm, is there a way you can obtain it through your limited? I'm thinking that consultancies must be able to do something similar in order to satisfy central gov clients. If they can then surely a limited can

          Theres one on Jobserve working for Nato in Brussels that requires security clearance - if you know .Net. Apply for it, get cleared, and dont take it....

          ... if you dont mind riding off into the sunset hollering 'yeehaa' on your faithful mount 'Trigger'...
