    Quiz III

    What travels uphill faster than downhill?
    Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

      How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

                  Ok....here's a logic puzzle for yous...

                  Alex
                  Billy
                  Claire
                  Denise

                  need to cross a bridge. They all take different times to cross: -

                  Alex = 1 min
                  Billy = 2 mins
                  Claire = 4 mins
                  Denise = 8 mins

                  They only have one lantern between them, but the bridge will only hold 2 people at once. When travelling in a pair, they travel at the slowest speed of the 2.

                  How can all people get accross the bridge, always with a lantern, in 15 minutes?

                    There's a place down the road from me called Uphill. Apparently they have a horticultural society rather than the Uphill gardening club.
