        Horrible.

Good reason to outlaw religion and Association Football.

Both breed and encourage sectarianism and tribal violence, when added together it's even more absurd.

Hmm, sounds easy but I think footy’s just a vehicle for their hatred. If it wasn’t footy it would be something else. Take a look at a Pakistan vs India cricket match if there ever is one on the subcontinent again.

Yep. Outlawing religion in China and Russia really put an end to this kind of violence.

            not.

..maybe just ban the human race. Seems to me it would solve pretty much all of the planet's problems.

Be a real bugger trying to get a milkshake though.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? - Epicurus

A vehicle yes, but footy also brings them together in large tribal groups with a common cause and opportunities to exchange insults and declare a "jihad".
I very much doubt that the appalling incident in the article would have happened without the football stimulus and excuse for a number of violent tossers to group up.

Football related violence is hardly uncommon in many cities around the world, there was a nasty little outbreak in Leeds the other week, that had no religion involved.

                    And he keeps going.

Anything else - video games are linked to violence. So are some movies/tv. Alcohol fuels it. Clearly any sport which draws large groups of fans. I'm pretty sure we've had violenece at music concerts so ban that as well.

In fact let's go full taliban and ban anything that people seem to enjoy, for fear of inciting the masses.

                    You're a numpty Tyke.
