What do you miss about England?

I miss the old fashioned grocery and ironmongery stores where you have to ask for what you want and they get it from the shelves behind them (as in the 'fork handles' Two Ronnies sketch. Now replaced with corner shops, fruit stalls and sari shops in a lot of areas.
You can lead a fool to wisdom but you can't make him think.
