        Well, it's considerably longer than 7 questions.

        Most of those questions look like the starter questions in each block, worth a couple of marks each. They get harder by asking more questions on the same subject.

            I admit I more trying to answer a question froma colleague about when exactly I am ready to goto the pub..

            I also admit I had similar problems when doing the GCSE maths however it was more along the lines of "how quick can we finish this to get back to the pub", got a grade B that time

                    According to my children that's because they're aiming to test the students ability to apply mathematics rather than remember formulae. It's a debatable point.
