    Soap question

Shampoo, handwash, shower gel; they are all be safe for use on the skin/hair and must all clean.

I'm going to buy a huge drum of shampoo from Lidl and start using it for everything.

Why not just buy a bar of soap?

Soap doesn't work well in hair unless it's very short in my experience. But shampoo does indeed work well as a soap once you get a lather going.

Can you use it to clean your teeth too? Saves buying lots of different kinds of products, like toothpaste.

The gym I go to has liquid dispensers in the shower which I used to ignore. But one day I asked a member of staff what was in them, was it shampoo or soap. He didn't know for sure but thought it was both.

Some of the people at my local gym take an empty shampoo bottle and fill it up using those dispensers. How sad is that?

Not necessarily sad at all. It depends on whether you enjoy schadenfreude.

Does that mean showering in the ladies shower room?
