    Help hungry Americans NOW

    On firing up Internet Exploder it went automatically to the Internet Exploder 8 Download page. On there is a panel which says:

    1 in 8 Americans struggle to have enough to eat.

    Download Windows Internet Exploder 8 for free and we'll donate 8 meals to Feeding America.
    The link on that panel takes you to www.browserforthebetter.com and from there you get to http://feedingamerica.org/

    (By 'America' they are of course ignoring anything north or south of the USA.)

    Are they having a laugh or what?

    WTF is the rest of the world supposed to make of the richest country on the planet begging for food on the web site of one of the richest corporations, previously run by the richest man on the planet?

    Is it me, or is the USA just a monstrous global parasite?
    My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.

    That's probably true if your definition of 'not having enough to eat' is measured by having a BMI of under 30.

      Hungry = not continuously eating
      Faster, faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death.

      Patience is something you admire in the driver behind you and scorn in the one ahead.

            After all, it's cheaper than keeping your mentally ill in hospitals innit?
            Well, erm maybe they should stop spending trillions on bombing other hungry folk and invest in a decent social security system which looks after their most needy.

            Crazy notions I know. I am sure cyber-tory will give me a running bitch-slap for my sentimentality.......

                Stop being so f**king sensible. You'll have the Daily Wail gang on you if you keep on about 'decent social security' and helping the 'needy'.

                  Erm, native Americans first harvested it, before the borders were drawn. Not really a USA or Canadian invention.

                    Yeh they could stop subsidising Europeans defense budgets too and re-allocate that money towards a free medical system and benefits for 50% of their population too.
