    Plan B

Given that the phrase 'plan B' (not to be confused with PLAN B FROM OUTER SPACE) seems to get mentioned on here more and more I thought I'd start a poll (I like poles ).

Unfortunately, like the Dr Who companions list, I couldn't offer all the choices you might want....but I've done my best (honestly!).

    So, whats your plan B?

Sorry AtW, I didn't have room for the 'dream of becoming the next Bill Gates' option. Unfortunately I had to narrow it down to what was realistic...

Plan B1.0 went okay for a little while. (2 years)

Now on Plan B.1.1 That's looking a little brighter (But need to make enough cash to pay for the mistakes made in plan B1.0)

There will always be a call for Plan B

Now on plan C which is a combination of Plan A (IT Contractor) and Plan B (Private Investigator).

Plan C opens for business in Feb/March 2006 - it's concept comes from experience working as a contractor and as an Investigator investigating agency bad practices on behalf of IT Contractors. Will say no more about what is proposed until good and ready for market.

Well so far we have 45% who don't know what a plan B is, haven't thought of one, or their plan B has gone somewhat pear-shaped.

Another 30% that have [sensibly] invested in property or plan to use a UK property to finance a new life abroad (something which obviously isn't a concern to the 13% who just work when they feel like it).

Leaving 1 person who's afraid to tell the missus of his planned career move, and 1 person who's opened a shop.

Still, FG's idea seems an always hopeful plan C:
