    New armoured cars unveiled...

    ...and they're open topped.

Marvellous. Bought in from US-based Navistar Defence, these - no doubt - highly reliable vehicles will ! offer maximum protection from roadside bombs, RPGs and snipers.

Or am I missing something here? Cue slatings from the 3 people who actually know what they're talking about and the armchair soldiers who've read the SAS Survival Handbook on the bog.

One guy with a primitive bow and arrow could kill the driver and they're f**ked.
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

That's the clever fabric anti-rpg thingie.

If I had to be there, I'd want to be in one of these:

            Well, actually one of these:

But I don't think they can operate in Helmand.

Indeed. About 10000 times more preferable than being shot at.

                  Dear Father Christmas,

Please send me a pinkie for Xmas, I've been a good boy all year(ish).

They just flick a switch and a cover will go over the top.
