What our hard working MP's spend their time doing

The MP though can pay for the renovations and improvements out of the public purse, and then enjoy relief from CGT as well when it is sold.

This combination of CGT tax relief, and taxpayer funded renovations, can lead to a "double-jammy" in benefit.

Flipping themselves off at taxpayers expense. Tax free too.

It's not what they "spend their time doing" we want to hear about, but "where will they be doing time".
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

      Fair comment.

Sadly we all know that the chances of any of them being investigated let alone jailed for misappropriation of public funds is vanishingly small

Worthless corrupt scum the lot of them irrespective of party.

Actually quite a small number - but the others turned a blind eye I suppose.

Did anyone draw up a list of honest MPs, at least in terms of those emerging from the recent expenses wheeze untainted. Suffice to say Ann Whitticomb would be on it, but what about other luminaries such as Gormless and call me Dave?
