Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? - EpicurusComment

I regularly do lane swimming at my leisure centre and wear speedos which seems to be the norm for serious swimmers.
Baggy short are OK for those just splashing about though

AFAIK It's only the frogs who insist on Speedo style attire in public pools, I've tried to find out the reason on numerous occasions but I've never heard a satisfactory answer. They insist on rubber hats too.
Maybe Le Rosbif can enlighten us? There’s a first time for everything.Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

If its to impress the girls, then Speedos and possibly a cucumber if the water is especially cold.
If its to show how laid back you are, then the baggy look sais you don't care in a way that Speedos never can.
