    Don't ask.

Anyone here live on the coast near Cullercoats, Whitley Bay or nearby coastal towns/villages?

Nice place to live, or stinking horrible northern dumps?

Whitley Bay's a nice place but becomes a stinking dump each weekend thanks to stag and hen parties (southerners in many cases)

      Whitley Bay is rough.

It's the only place I've been and seen strippers at breakfast time (so it's not all bad).

Did you search through those carousels, and the carnival arcades? Did you look everywhere from steeplechase to palisades, or in any shooting gallery where promises are made to rockaway?

          Just wondering.

Is a southerner likely to get that?

              No. Next.

Sounds like the lyrics from a Spandau Ballet song.

It's Dire Straits; the Spanish City from 'Tunnel of Love' was a fairground in Whitley Bay.

I have a mate who lives near Hartlepool, not far from a beach. She reckons it's beautiful around there, and a match for Cheshire regarding millionnaires per square mile...
