    Modern medicine

Michael Jackson’s death at the hands of the medical profession epitomises the way it preys on the sick, vulnerable and super rich. As does the way his £billion fortune was drained out of him to leave a disfigured hollowed out bank balance a body that might not be biodegradable. Given the opportunity, would modern medicine do that to entire economies too? Is that what you want? Or is it time we saw the medical profession for what it really is, and that is a parasitic organsim populated by grossly overpaid, egotistical scumbags who just want all your money, a big pension, house and early retirement? And a yacht?

Wouldn't it be better if medical professionals were paid the same as a bus driver, much like in Cuba, or perhaps modern medical practise replaced by cheaper and equally effective Voodoo medicine? After all isn’t it a fact that the healthiest people are those that never see a doctor?

How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

There's no money in the cure!

When was the last time scientists found a cure for anything? Nowadays they find a drug to help with medication....that where the money is
Who has time? Who has time? But then if we do not ever take time, how can we ever have time?

          Wow, great argument.

One 'slightly' crazy pop star dies, possibly from od'ing on prescription medicine, or related to his consumption of, and the whole of the medical profession are now grossly overpaid, egotistical scumbags.

Do you not think that if they got the same money being a bus driver they would just become a bus driver? Top marks in school, get into a highly over subscribed 5 year degree course, a few years working 100 hour weeks to do a job where your Monday morning might be telling a 14 year old she has 4 weeks to live. Or driving the 44 out of town and back in all day long for the same money.

Being a doctor is probably a cushier number than being a bus driver. After all, the worse and hardest jobs also tend to be the lowest paid in Western economies. How do they get people to be doctors in Cuba, rather than them going for a cushy number like a bus driver? Perhaps doctors there aren't in it for the money?

So because you don't like the fact that doctors earn decent money you want change the system in the UK to model a communist dictatorship where people will jump on a inflated tractor inner tube as soon as the wind starts blowing in the direction of the USA. I am going to take a wild guess and say that you never got the exam results to get into medical school.

Have you seen the buses in Cuba

They are worse than the tube at rush-hour in a heatwave.

If there's one thing that Castro knows, it's how to make doctors.
