    L-Shaped Recession

You heard it here first. We ain't coming back from this one. The "green shoots" are a function of the masses of credit pumped in. When that's over we're back to a more realistic standard of living - one that matches our crap productivity.

How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Good time to get into BTL then.

If it's L shaped you'll never see a capital gain exceeding inflation in your lifetime.

I think we are in for a ¿ shaped Recession. Basically none of us have a real clue what's going to happen!!

I understand where sasgurus getting his ideas from but I think it's probably more likely a W-shape; the "green shoots" are the (small) upswing from the first dip followed by a massive dive into the second, deeper recessionary period.

I think the recession is O shaped.

                And has 15 dimensions.

We should devote what remains of our economy to invest in time-travel technology so that we can go back and stop nuLieBore from winning the election in ’97.

naaaah. The banks will be let loose again. No regulation and turn the other way. The good times will come back.
