Tell them it's 2.5 or you will walk
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

      I preferred version 1!

        Should I:
Ask him why. Also, did the client tell you this or did it come from your agency??
If the latter then they are likely to be pulling a fast one.

3% is a strange figure but I'd say yes as it takes you nicely in to next year.

          Nice cat by the way.

Tell them that you realise how bad things are, so you will take a 10% cut instead.

Tell them to take it from AndyW's portion.

Take it and book 5% more hours but do no more work. That way, you get to keep the extra 2% for being home a few minutes later each day.

Split it with the agent. And then do some extra hours and charge more for them.
