Everyone will get vaccine against swine flu

    Times

The NHS is preparing to vaccinate the entire population against swine flu after the disease claimed the life of its first healthy British patient.

A new vaccine is expected to arrive in Britain in the next few weeks and could be fast-tracked through regulatory approval in five days.

How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Still undecided whether Torchwood this week was

    a) Too slow
    b) Serious case of "last 10 minutes" syndrome
    c) Simply great drama

It's not often you see children being killed and sacrificed and it was quite thought provoking - how quickly would we all set aside our principles if faced with a seemingly un-winnable situation.

Did anyone else notice the Prime Minister's name... Mr Green

I've not watched Torchwood before but seeing it last week and seeing Peter Capaldi in it I was expecting, I'm afraid, him to burst into Malcolm Skinner from The Thick Of It any minute!

I can't decide if Torchwood is:

        a) Council telly scifi / scifi for chavs.
        b) Some kind of government welsh actress employment initiative.
        c) A BBC ploy to distract viewers from how bad Dr Who is.
        d) tulipe.
        e) Unmitigated tulipe.

        I'm leaning towards e) myself.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

          All 5!

With regards to the vaccine, no thanks, I'll take my chances after the last lot of tulipe they tried to vaccinate me with!

Heavily immuno suppressed, live vaccine. Don't think so.

I'd rather take my chances with the real 'flu than trust big pharma with something like this.

The big pharma in question gives the vaccine to its employees. The risk is probably low.

Of course, big pharma are experts so can't be trusted. Best go to the tribal medicine man.
