    Dangerous Tomato Plant Grower...

    That'll teach her...

I'd say "only in Neath Port Talbot", but the little hitlers are everywhere.

"There is a very serious reason why we request that no items are left in the internal communal spaces within our flats. Keeping staircases and foyers clear of clutter is a key fire safety precaution. "

Sounds sensible to me. What a non-story.
        Hard Brexit now!

The article said she was spraying the plants with insecticide.

I could understand the council's attitude if that was their main objection. Knowing how deliberately misleading newspaper articles like this are, to get a good story, it probably was.

From a geek point of view - these buildings are buit to the lowest spec you can get away with so there will be minimum clearance in the communial areas, I would rather not be stuck in the foliage during an emergancy

Would you eat produce grown in a communal area?
I am not qualified to give the above advice!

                  probably.
Some plants do not do well indoors, tomatos being one, they need loads of sunshine and water. So they are probably better off in the communal garden

Sadly so, we apparently suffer from the dreaded dangerous bunting!
