All those tiny countries in central America..

like Nicuagara and Honduras and Belize etc. It looks too messy on the map, and let's face it, they're never going to win the World Cup. They should all amalgamate and become a decent balancing country to Mexico and Brazil.

Perhaps that explains why they have such longevity. One of the healthiest countries on the planet allegedly.

              Actually...

They used to be part of an empire, that of Spain. They used to be part of Nueva España. They broke from Mexico around the time it rebelled from Spain.

                When did Eire get one?
Oh, I’m sorry….I seem to be lost. I was looking for the sane side of town. I’d ask you for directions, but I have a feeling you’ve never been there and I’d be wasting my time.

They have had one for quite a while apparently http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irish_Army

Now that you come to mention it, I saw some RI military staff in Kosovo a few years ago if my memory serves me correctly.

RI also have a Navy and air force it seems.

If they will become part of the empire of an inferior country then what do they expect.
