That's pretty much how diseases spread, exponential until they start to run out of new victims or are otherwise limited.

    I don't speak foreign.

Brazil says four deaths on that map, but I know for sure it is 11.

Those figures are gobbledygook, absolute bollox.

How can India only have 229 cases? Bangladesh has only 22 cases with a population of 150m?? Columbia has a 1 in 25 death ratio???

"After 6 July 2009, the WHO stopped producing detailed worldwide figures. For subsequent updates to the interactive map below, the source data is taken from the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC)."

Well I guess it's reported data only... poorer countries will have less systems to detect, confirm and report cases.

Quite simple. They do not have the level of travellers that are passing on the disease as their population is poor and live mostly in situ, so spread is very slow for this obvious reason.... the same with China etc. Once the disease does hit though, which it surely will, it will be devastating.

The UK is an international hub so we are one of the first to suffer. The others will follow.

Yeh you don't get many Indians travelling. Get real they're fecking everywhere. Considering the UK's hotspot is Birmingham and all.

                    Columbia?

Like I said meaningless, though there does at least seem like a 3:1000 pattern emerging from the developed countries.
