POLITE NOTICE TO ALL BENCHED CONTRACTORS.

Please form an orderly queue. No pushing. Everyone will get a turn.

Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.

Thats what I thought, but then I found I couldn't quite reach the far corner and had to go back and get it anyway.

        Demand a 30% rate increase?

Turn it down. There's no point having builders all over your house if you don't even really want an extension.

            WHS

Delay on signing the contract as much as possible. Concoct multiple excuses-it's being reviewed, the dog ate it etc.

            Meanwhile look for something better...

Get a better spam filter, I hear those suction pumps work just as well.

                    the grass isnt always greener,

I walked from one bad contract after they tried to enforce a 30% cut from everyones daily rate, served 28 days notice (at full rate) had two months off, got another gig on original rate but now got a 100 mile daily commute and bored stupid!

Depends how many opportunities there are where you live I suppose
