    Raksha Bandhan

Today is the festival that celebrates the bond between brothers and sisters. In India it is normal to wear a bracelet called a rakhi. It is tied by the sister on the brothers wrist- though as my sister Sarita is in India and I'm in Aldershot she couldn't tie me this year

I don't have any brothers or sisters. Can I just go to the pub instead?

On the plus side, whoever has created this incredibly rubbish sockpuppet, is at least learning something about a foreign culture in the process.

Well i can tell you as an indian that there are many nicer things than tikka massala. Today for instance I breakfasted on idli fry then at lunch I dined on a vegetable thali. Tonight I will have string hoppers which is a very nice Sri Lankan dish.
