    What do you think this would actually cost?

    Here is what's actually a fairly decent spec, for a project on elance. It sounds like a pretty meaty chunk of code and apart from the EJB 2.1 requirement I'd be interested, except for the suggested price (in white below, select to see under the post)
    I'd be interested what you think this would actually take in terms of hours/£. I doubt I'll be
    bidding on this project

    Actual price suggested: $500-1000 (£300-600)

      With a happy path ( untested with jboss 5 using annotations and EJB 3 ) I could knock that up in a week. easy. Remove annotations and going with the clients wish to go back to JBoss 4 (why the **** would you want to go back to that tulip) deployment files, setting up queues etc I would tell a client 20 days.
