one gig where I worked a guy put pictures of page 3 babes in swimsuits in
his slides, given all the audience were IT blokes it worked quite well.Comment

I've learnt to always have white tack on me! (Blu tack makes too much of a mess on walls...
).
CMDB/Config Mgt training always works better with picture representations of the classes and lots of red and green ribbon and a large wall...

I miss the good old flip charts. I enjoyed preparing those; you could write your speaker notes on them in pencil which the audience couldn't see, and straight lines and perfect circles for a diagram you were going to draw "live". They were also good for writing down audience suggestions on the fly, which gave you a way of drumming up audience participation from the beginning.
