That we're expensive compared to an employee, most permies divide their salary up into hours and moan like feck that the contractor next to them earns more completely ignoring the fact they get paid for holidays, bank holidays, sick days, duvet days, dependents days, maternity and paternity days... they also forget they don't pay employees NI, PL & PI insurance, accountant/umbrella fees... also they forget that it cost a bloody fortune to get rid of an employee and they have never had an unpaid day since they left school.
