I think we will be ok

Markets up and up, house prices rising, interest rates still low. And September the job market is going to pick up.

I think we are going to be ok you know.

    Have you been drinking?

Optimism is not allowed on this forum... and certainly not in general (specifically!)

It must be Gordon Brown's economic miracle finally kicking in, I always thought he was a great leader and will silence many of the cynics and non-believers on this forum.

btw where I am there are no windows and the walls and floor are cushioned, they make me wear a white 'waist coat' with the sleeves inter-twined.

All the new money that has been pumped into the economy has caused inflation, of house prices.

Oh I still think that will happen, but it appears if you talk the markets up they stay up, so "I think we will be ok".

US off between 1.5% and 2% and the same in Europe.

I thought that this would actually happen next week when US comes back to work.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.
