No, but by coincidence a mate walloped a roach last Sunday. Said the hook had gone too far down its neck. Crap disgorging skills more like. -
I walloped a haddock on tuesday.
boiled for 15 mins then placed on a round of bread, dollop of butter and dusted with pepper.

tried pollock on holiday - great texture but needs a good sauce or crust to enjoy as a tad bland.
incedentally, we caught and walloped a couple of bass last weekend - now that is what I call flavorComment
