Sorry, I was busy glueing some Space Marines together.
Did I miss something ?Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

and so once again the media whips up the morons into a frenzy believing England can win the world cup, fast forward 12 months and it's back to Turnips again. The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment

I must admit, I thought we'd given it up for a bad job, after previous failures year in year out.
I didn't realise they were going to try again this year !Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. Build up to world cup =unrealistic hype/frenzy, world class/best chance ever will be used a lot
Rundown from World Cup= Disappointment, Unlucky, Sack the manager, not good enough, why didn't X play? Y is too old, Poor tactics, Overpaid, Outclassed, Headless chickens, time to rebuild etc etc.
New manager is appointed and a few friendly wins over some part time pro minow nations will start the slow build up of hyperbole on the run up to the next tournament.
Happens every timeThe court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment
