Fancy a pint? Thurdsay 17th Sept

Myself and the lovely Zippy will be going for a small dry sherry (- or two) at the Ship & Shovel near the Embankent tube on Thursday 17th Sept around 6ish.
Feel free to pop along and discuss the finer points of condiment etiquette and the eroticisation of chocolate biscuits.

Why do you have to do these things on Thursdays when I'm stuck in the grim north?

Can we discuss the pedestrianisation of Norwich City Centre?

And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

Something wrong with you if you think London's grim in this weather.

Probably best to do this before your drinks but why not take a walk east along the Embankment?

Over the course of about one mile you will see:

                The Royal Festival Hall
                The National Theatre
                The OXO Tower
                The Inns of Court
                The ITV Headquarters!
                St Paul's Cathedral
                The Tate Modern
                The Globe Theatre
                The Tower of London
                Tower Bridge

How can anyone not be inspired by the proximity of such culture.

That does include the grimmest of the grim. City centre London in a hot spell is bloody awful.
