    Are City Link always crap...

....or is it just me? I always seem to have problems with them.

They have supposed to have delivered something on 8th 9th and now 10th Sept according to their tracking site but no-one turns up.

Bloody annoying staying in all day for nothing.
Numbly tolerating the inequality as a way to achieve greater prosperity for all.

That's odd. When I get things from eBuyer, they are the courier.

Normal delivery is about noon +/- 20 mins. Never been a problem.

It depends on who has the franchise for you are, I suppose.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

city link are so bad in my area that I check if ordering online and don't order if they are the courier. I have stopped ordering from e-buyer for this sole reason.

I know a director of Citylink. Ex-director actually, he resigned four years ago after he was caught sh*gging the MD's wife.

A case of him delivering his package just as the MD got home I'm guessing...

              What a fascinating insight.

I wonder if she paid extra for same day delivery ?

Lucky she was in though, otherwise he would have had to deliver the goods round the back porch.
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Normally they're not too bad but have had a few nightmares with them.

Normally it's when the regular driver is unavailable and they employ self-employed cover drivers who don't know the area and have very little comittment.

The favourite trick is to say "delivery was attempted but nobody was in and a card was left".

Of course, you know this to be a lie because you waited in all day for your "GUARANTEED NEXT DAY DELIVERY" and there is no card dropped.

Last time this happend, rang their customer service line and was told that the driver should have taken a photo of the premesis (!) to prove they had got the right address. They should have this on file on their system, but of course it wasn't there because the lying scrote of a driver hadn't been anywhere near.

They can sometimes play this game for days on end before the package is finally returned to sender.

You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

If you don't take delivery within 14 days they destroy the package, oh how we laughed.
