    The Bench

If you'd been on the bench for a while, would you ever consider returning to education or academia or to a complete career change (e.g., going into teaching)?

If I could afford it I'd quite like to do a 2nd degree in something different.

I'd like to do a PhD but I think it would have to be part-time (again).

I'd rather been torn apart by rabid dogs than become a teacher.

I don't see the point of a PhD unless you are good enough to make a lasting and significant effect on your subject.

I've thought about teaching in further education but the money isn't great. Bottom line is I can't afford to take the time out to retrain unfortunately. Don't have a lot left in the tank.

I am often mistaken for a teacher - christ knows why, I'd be awful at it.

If I had the money I would do an MSC in something real cool, like astrophysics
I'm sorry, but I'll make no apologies for this

              Interest? Mental stimulation?

That is how I got into software.

If I had to change now I think I would study law.
