If you're helping a contractor mate out (by pointing him in the direction of an actual live contract) surely that's enough. He buys you loads of beers, everyone's a winner. If the pimp buys you beer as well so much the better. Vouchers are for permies.

I once got a referral fee off Elan. I got sent a cheque for recommending someone for an IBM gig. It was over 3 years ago though.Comment
