The end of the postal service?

This is surely suicide for the postal service?

Do any of those voting for industrial action really think that a strike will give them improved pay and conditions, as opposed to losing them their job?

The improved pay and conditions are for those that are left after the next round of redundancies.

The unions and employees know that redundancies have to be made.

Amazon are already looking a contingency plans and if they manage to still deliver without Royal Mail then quite possibly they (and others) will make a permanent shift to a more reliable service.

The cost of postage should have been put up years ago, it's too cheap.

Just as long as they don't make a permanent shift to the Home Delivery Network. Bunch of *******.

It looks like there is no hope.

Fe**ing unions, no real use to anyone. Companies know this and this is why unions now specialise in the public sector.

In much of London there has been no postal service for a month. National strike would make virtually no difference.

                  Agree with that.

Privatise it and outsource it to the Poles.

                  That'll teach 'em.

Never had a problem with these guys. We always get the same chap delivering to us on a regular basis. Great service.
