Donington boss Simon Gillett said on Monday he had been given another two weeks to provide financial guarantees.

But Formula 1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone denied that amounts to a new deadline.

"We haven't decided to give Gillett another deadline at all. We have informed him he is in breach of contract," he told the Daily Telegraph.

"The contract which we have gives him 14 days to remedy the breach. Most business contracts are like that."

This has been on the cards for a while as Donnington has struggled to get the money together. I hope it happens.

I'm not happy that MotoGP gets crappy flat windswept wasteland Silverstone for the next 5 years

There isn't a sufficient infrastructure in place at donnington to cater for the numbers involved.

Where Silverstone isn't brilliant it's a hell of a lot more acessible, but admittably needs a hell of a lot of investment and improvements.

so have Benie and the RDC kissed and made up then?
