Wow, honesty - a new tactic from an agent

    Blooming heck

just had an email from an agent with a novel approach.
    The truth.

Dear EO , remember a few years ago when we tried hard (unsuccessfully) to place you with a few clients ? You will remember what a good bunch we were.
The recession has hit us hard and we are struggling, are there any openings for us that you can identify and let us know about. please.

no offer of a bribe or anything

Yep, I dread to think about some of the scams they must have tried before resorting to telling the truth.

The fact that they are unsuccessful at placing people and are struggling may be connected. Just a hunch...
