Beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer.

    Beer, beer, beer.

    Ale, lager, beer, stout.

    Guzzle, quaff, slurp, gulp.

    Fridays.

    Dontcha just love 'em?

You'll beat the wife when you get home then?

I did consider quaffing a few at lunch time but I really couldn't be bothered. Regretting it now though.

Never understood the fascination with Stella. It always tastes metallic and sour to me, like the pub hasn't cleaned out the lines (which is often the case).

Give me a good hand-pumped ale, or failing that, draught Guinness.

You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

just back from pub. PM has gone mental this week and demanded our presense at Ye Old Contractor three times this week. I think he's building up to another off-site meeting in an hour too.

Back in the days when I were a permie manager, I always had the weekly dev team at 2pm on Friday. The other managers and the IT director saw the wisdom in this - making sure the buggers get back from the pub in time.

What they didn't know was that the venue for the meeting was in the pub... sometimes our meeting took all afternoon.

Stella tastes good in Belgium. You need to watch out for those infamous words: "Brewed in the UK".
