Can anyone tell me why we watched that all those years ago?

I've had the movie on while I'm working on something and I think it is total fraking bollox.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Old movie or recent one? The old one was not great even when the show was popular. The show itself was pretty good, for a few series anyway... I lost the story eventually.

I saw the film for the first time tonight. Gillian Anderson was looking good.

I didn't watch it all those years ago.

I caught a few episodes recently on Freeview, and it appeared to be unmitigated rubbish. No idea what series, if they were pre- or post-shark-jumping, or anything else except that they were crap.

There were some unusually hostile greys in the film.
          More like Alien.
          Probably grey lager louts.

I've been watching the odd UFO on day-time ITV4. Still hooked...

new film was a tad pants, it was just one extra long not so good episode.

Rewatched the series (all of them) again recently, the series after Mulder left were lacking.

Still they paved the way for lost, fringe etc al....
