Sheesh - data protection anybody ?

We have offices next door to a home-care-providing company.
This morning at 7 I am first in and find a couple of sheets of A4 on the floor, obviously posted over the weekend, by mistake.

It was the timesheet for one of the carers and it contained some pretty stark comments about the oldies and gentlemen.

Mrs xxxx 'Has an alcohol problem, please report any alcohol abuse'

Mrs xxx 'Lots of money, losing her faculties. Do not accept gifts, report any predators'

Mr xxx 'A feisty chap. Male Carer if possible'

    etc

So, have you worked out which houses are the best to rob then?

        So "yes" then

I'd avoid the one where the feisty chap lives. The old dear with lots of money sounds like a good start.

Did you return it with appropriate comments about Data Protection? You could mention that if anyone else had picked it up it could easily have ended up in the local paper, or worse.

I left it for the MD to deal with. He will have to be neighbours with these dudes long after I am gone.

You should point out that you yourself take data protection so seriously that you've already posted the juicy bits on a public internet forum.
