Managers The Weakest Link In Everything

Managers 'the weakest link' in everything to do with the UK

Incompetent managers are the weakest link in the UK’s infrastructure, according to Indian Outsourcing Isnt It Ltd, a services specialist, which is urging a new code of ethics to govern any sector of recruitment.

Close work with central government and organisations "with money" have alerted the agent to the need for new vetting standards between recruiters and offshore services providers, “to help outsource the nation’s wonga.”

Speaking to anybody who would listen, and some who would not, Indian Outsourcing Isnt It Ltd warned that they wouldnt be making much money if UK companies continued taking on contractors who have not been subject to any visa vetting requirements, because of the plethora of UK based 'shell companies' whose profits margins depended on undercutting local staff.

Mr Yello Brik Rode, commercial director, reflected: “Millions of pounds are being invested in sophisticated systems to improve your country. But, even now, some of that money is still being paid to UK staff.”

Increasing concern about immigration and international terrorism in the wake of the July 7 London attacks have stepped up the focus on exploding workers, and the vetting practice to which they are subject has been lessened considerably at the request of people who make large donations to government.

No longer should it be down to recruiters to decide the stringency of such procedures, Mr Rode said, rather, anybody should be given a work permit to “ensure fairness across the board.”

“Mujahadeen are not inherently more of a security risk than permanent staff,” Mr Rode said in a statement.

“[But] when staff are employed by a third party, it lies with third party to vet martyrs. With no official guidelines on this, martyrs could be employed who have not been checked at all, creating a small, but very real, risk that dont actually fulfill their contract, and end up floating in the English Channel.

We believe recruiters need to make the same security checks as the terrorist organisation itself, so that everyone can slip through the network of intelligence agencies.”

The agent has recently agreed to “new stricter sets of service level agreements with a number of sleeper cells” - so hiring companies know their exceptionally temporary experts are cleared by MI5 and will be on-site with split-second timing.

Sorry, but I couldnt resist yet more CUK front page bollox about contractors being a security risk when compared to permies, who have access to far more sensitive data, and are less well paid, therefore have more incentive to screw about the system. Erm, now lets see, was Nick Leeson a contractor...? Or that chappy who took the Bank of Ireland for a hefty sum? erm.. no guys... they were.. gasp... permies! Permies are the biggest security risk!!!

I am thinking of setting up a company called the Blue Garter Group, who puts out spurious press releases to further their own business and take cash off desperate people who subscribe to a newsfeed and will pay me good money for it... why bother working for a living when you can make one by inventing a world like a Harry Potter novel....

Agreed. But I have often asked, when will Gartner get ousourced to India? It's about time. Nay, it really overdue.
