What percentage of GDP are we paying just to service the interest on the national debt?

Here is a good one too Telegraph: One in five families receive housing benefits

Boroughs with the highest proportion of claims were East London's Hackney (41.9 per cent) and Tower Hamlets (38.1 per cent), more than twice the national average of 17.6 per cent.

London (23.2 per cent), the North East (21.8 per cent) and Scotland (19.3 per cent) were the highest-claiming regions of the average £81.03 a week support, according to figures compiled for the Department of Work and Pensions.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

A bank tanked here in Denmark, and it's going to cost each and every Dane £200 extra in their taxes.

          Bargain.

Most of the board and their accountants have just been reported to the Police. We're running a book on who gets to be the sacrificial lamb(s) and go to jail.

Nonsense. A reality check for people who were stupid enough to live beyond their means. What part of "I don't earn enough to pay for that" do these people not understand.
              Hard Brexit now!

The problem is that an awful lot of jobs are now closed to these people, so they will under perform economically, and as there are so many, so will the economy as a whole.

But then we can always bring in a few million more immigrants to take up the slack, no problem.

depends where you get your figures from, but if the national debt is now close to the gdp
the % of gdp to service the debt would be close to the % interest payable
