    When is racially-aggravated crime

    not racially-aggravated crime?

When it's carried out by a bunch of asian teenagers kicking a white boy to death being heard to say they 'killed whitey'.
According to the judge that is.
Slightly different when black teenagers are killed with axes, of course.
    Why not?

    Daily Mail story ?

I can see the Daily Mail putting this out as a front page story. In ALL races can you can find racists - Asians hate blacks, West Indian blacks hate African blacks. I think its abit silly for the judge to say that the asian boys weren't racists.

The flip side is that papers like the Mail will use this to do their regular "we're under attack" stories. The only consolation is that the next day they'll move onto their other scare stories like asylum seekers are taking over the country, crime is increasing (even though its not), paedophiles are everywhere etc etc. Remember the Mail's founder, Lord Northcliffe, said his winning formula was to give his readers "a daily hate".

I dont know for sure if the judge did actually say what he is supposed to have said - I havent seen the story anywhere. I am just saying that before you believe in this story think about who is reporting it.

Check out the BBC news page

OK, not a good recommendation, but........
Entirely agree that there are racists in all races.
Just f*cked off that again crimes by non-whites are not seen as racially-aggravated but the same crimes carried out by whites would be (certainly by the thoughtless-police).

Actually crimes do apparently seem to be rising... its just that they are 'reclassified'.

As an example, in the Midlothian region more the 2000 crimes less were resolved by the police due to them having to divert resources to 'protect' the G8 protesters, when compared to last year.

A very small percentage of rapes are actually reported as the conviction rate is around 10%, of those who actually put themselves through the abuse that is traditional in rape trials.

When it was revealed that asian youths were regularly hanging around schools in a town in Lancashire, picking up under age white girls, giving them drugs and raping them, the police did nothing despite the parents mounting their own patrols of the school areas. The police simply said 'nobody lodged a complaint as a victim' (as of course they were scared) and avoided the issue, despite a 12 month investigation. Why mount a 12 month investigation if there were no obvious signs of crime??? They did however, admit that it was happening. I have posted the link to this story before.

The Crown Prosecution Service has repeatedly refused to prosecute in many cases - and therefore thats marked as either a non crime as the case is dismissed, or as resolved.

I think what happens is that because there have been cases of racism in the past most public bodies are now so scared of being called racist. Some blacks/asians so abuse this by shouting racism every time even when they are in the wrong. I know of a pub in the east end of London that was used to deal drugs by asian gangs. When the Police raided the placed they were called racists. Even at a different level people do use the term racist to further their cause. When Trevor Philips (the current chair of the Commission for Racial Eqality) was running against Ken Livingstone to be the London Mayor, Ken offered Trevor a position as his number 2. Trevor immediately shouted that this was racism and he got lots of media coverage because of that. Politcians have always been pairing up to form 'dream tickets' but when offered to a black guy it was racism.

Making false accusation of racism should be made an offense and then then the Police and others can stop being so nervous around blacks/asians.

This is currently being discussed on Radio 2. Apparantly the murderers would have got 30 years rather than 15 years if the crime had been proven to be racist!!!!!! What difference does it make - twice the sentence if there is racial motivation???? It's murder FFS

By the emphasis of the delusional, fairtrade coffee drinking pinko liberals brainwashing the dummed-down x-factoring, sun reading, east ender watching population that being racialist (sic) is worse than being an evil axe-wielding psychopath.

Hmnn, so that was a racist killing

A man convicted of the racist murder of Anthony Walker is "horrified" at what he has done, a court has heard.
Paul Taylor, 20, and his cousin Michael Barton, 17, who murdered Anthony with an ice axe, are due to be sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court.

Andrew Menary QC, defending Taylor, said in mitigation the killer was sorry for what he had done and wanted to apologise to Anthony's family.

Anthony, 18, was killed at McGoldrick Park in Huyton, Merseyside, on 29 July.

Taylor and Barton face a life sentence with a minimum tariff of 30 years for racially motivated murder.

"This killing was and remains a senseless event," Mr Menary said.

Unlike those asian youths of course.

This is appalling - I agree with the sentence, any such vicious murder should carry a harsh sentence - but why oh why does it make a stuff of difference to anyone why they murdered
